New festival in Sherbrooke, laugh with the Hilarium Festival from August 30 to September 1.

Hilarium Sherbrooke is a brand new festival of modern and original comedy that will offer a world of laughter. The very first edition of the festival will be presented from August 27 to September 1, 2024 (Labor Day weekend), with 10 events to be held in 4 different venues.
The Hilarium Sherbrooke Festival offers a diverse program with major outdoor shows, unique indoor concepts and the opportunity to appreciate the talent of many of Quebec’s most popular comedians and impressive artists of international renown.
Hilarium Sherbrooke will take the city by storm for 6 days. At Parc Jacques-Cartier, festival-goers will be able to attend shows from the Rire à ciel ouvert series, hosted respectively by Mariana Mazza, Phil Roy and Katherine Levac. This will be an opportunity to see artists such as Patrick Groulx, Cathy Gauthier, Alexandre Barrette, Matthieu Pepper, Guillaume Pineault, Korine Côté, Jean-François Mercier and many others on stage.
At the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke, the public will be able to attend the MondH!al du rire, great comedy variety shows hosted by the popular P-A Méthot, featuring your favorite local comedians and hilarious artists from all over the world.
At the Théâtre Granada, Philippe Laprise will host Projet P13 | Jeux d’impro clandestins, a brand new and highly entertaining improvisation concept, with Jo Cormier, Richardson Zéphir, Michelle Desrochers and several other guests.
The Comédie Club Hilarium, hosted by Estrien Danick Martineau, will be presented at the Boquébière, offering up comedians for you to discover.
