The year 2023 will be one of change at Carrefour de l’Estrie. In addition to an improved commercial offering with the arrival of 5 new shops and others to come, our general manager has announced that he will be taking a well-deserved retirement.

Well known in the Sherbrooke community, Michel Roy has been at the helm of Carrefour de l’Estrie for more than 25 years. He ensured the center’s prosperity and influence, in addition to being behind several achievements, including the major renovation of 2017.

During his time here, he has weathered more than one storm, including the closure of several big-box stores such as Eaton’s, Zellers and Sears, and a pandemic! We therefore thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his dedication and loyalty and wish him a retirement that lives up to his expectations!

Nathalie Labrecque will now take over as manager of Carrefour de l’Estrie and continue the mission that Michel set himself, of maintaining its status as the region’s main shopping destination. Nathalie has solid experience in retail, which will be a real asset for the Carrefour. We welcome her and wish her a long and successful career at MACH.ltr;unicode-bidi: embed;mso-line-break-override:none;word-break:normal;punctuation-wrap:hanging;”>

Remember that the Carrefour is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! Keep an eye out, because many surprises are in store!
